This page sets out the role Oros plays, where the figures on this site come from, and what the examples, term sheets, and charts are and are not.
1Oros role
Oros studies operating exposures, defines terms, arranges outside capital, and acts as calculation agent under the contract terms. Oros does not take positions or hold the risk.
2Market data
Figures and series may be delayed or revised. Pages check for updates while open and label saved readings when updates are unavailable. The oil display shows the latest available prices with timestamps, and the chart uses the same current values as the price panel. Figures are for information only and are not quotes or prices Oros will deal at.
3Worked examples
Worked examples on sector pages are illustrative. Each describes a hypothetical business and event, not a client, a contract, or an outcome, and its figures are chosen to show how terms work.
4Term sheets and shapes
The specimen term sheets in the hedging guide and the payout shapes drawn on charts show how terms are structured. They are not offers, quotes, or descriptions of client work.
5Sector information
Sector pages give general context from public records and named benchmarks. They do not rely on client files or show client work.
